Crush Run Terms

 

Article 1: Definitions
1.1. For the purpose of these General Terms & Conditions the following definitions are used:
a. Event: Crush Run event Organized by BattleAxe Designs in any year.
b. Participant: a natural person who has registered for participation in an Event in a manner permitted by the Organizer.
c. Agreement: the agreement relating to participation of the Participant in the Event.
d. Organizer: the legal entity (in this matter BattleAxe Designs) with which a Participant has entered into an Agreement.
1.2. These General Terms & Conditions apply to all Agreements.

Article 2: Participation
2.1. A participant must have reached the minimum age specified by the Organizer for a specific Event on the day of the Event in question
2.2. A Participant can only participate in the Event if he has completed an appropriate registration fully and truthfully, if the entry fee has been paid in full and if the Participant has agreed to the General Terms & Conditions
2.3. Runners participating in the 5k or 1-Mile race are not permitted to resell or transfer their Bib to another runner.
2.4. If the Participant is unable to participate in the Event, the entry fee and additional orders that has been paid will not be refunded.
2.5. For reasons of force majeure or exceptional circumstances the Organizer can decide to cancel the Event at short notice. If the Event is cancelled because of force majeure and exceptional circumstances…no new date will be set; the next Event will take place a year later. In this case no entry fees and additional orders will be refunded to the Participant.
2.6. The Organizer is not liable for any costs incurred by the Participant if the Event has to be cancelled because of force majeure or exceptional circumstances

Article 3: Liability
3.1. Participation is at the Participant’s own risk. The Organizer is not liable for any damages, by whatever name, suffered by a Participant as a result of the participation, unless the damage is a direct consequence of deliberate intent or gross negligence on the part of the Organizer. This exclusion of liability also applies to serious damages such as all possible damages resulting from injury or death.
3.2. If, despite the stipulations in the first paragraph of this Article, the Organizer’s liability for damages suffered by a Participant must be accepted the Organizer’s obligation to reimburse the damages in question remains limited to the amount the Organizer’s insurance company will pay in respect of the claim.
3.3. The Participant must have adequate insurance cover against any damages he or a surviving family member may suffer as a result of his death, injury or illness, caused by his participation in the Event.
3.4. The Participant declares that he is aware of the fact that participation requires good physical and mental health and declares that he meets this requirement and that he has adequately prepared for the Event through training and other means. The Organizer expressly and urgently advises the Participant to undergo a medical examination in relation to participating in the Event.
3.5. The Participant indemnifies the Organizer against liability for damages suffered by third parties as a result of an act or omission relating to the Event that is attributable to a Participant. The Participant must have sufficient insurance to cover the risk of liability for such damages.
3.6. The Participant indemnifies the Organizer against liability for damages the Participant could suffer as a result of his participation in the Event, unless such damage is a direct result of deliberate intent or gross negligence attributable to the Organizer.

Article 4: Portrait rights
The Participant grants the Organizer the right to publish pictures and image material etc., recorded during or around the time of the Event, in which the Participant is visible.

Article 5: Personal data
The Organizer will save personal data provided by the Participant in a database. By participating in an Event, a Participant grants the Organizer permission to use the personal data to send information to the Participant and (provided the Participant has given permission for this on the registration form) to provide personal data to third parties for the purpose of sending information to the Participant. By entering into the Agreement, the Participant grants the Organizer permission to publish his name and competition results, for instance by means of publication in newspapers and via the Internet.

Article 6: Regulations
The Crush Run regulations, which form part of these General Terms & Conditions, apply to the Participant’s participation in the Event.
2.Regulations individual participants 2018
Article 1
The Crush Run is organized by BattleAxe Designs.
Article 2
The organization of the Crush Run is in compliance with general event regulations of the City of Las Vegas.
Article 3
The Participant must run along the track set out by the Organizer in a manner that is usual for track and field events. He must be recognizable as a Participant.
Article 4
The Participants must comply with instructions from the Organizer, and/or persons who, based on their clothing or other physical characteristics, appear to belong to the organization of the Organizer.
Article 5
The Organizer is entitled to disqualify a Participant and/or take a Participant out of the competition if he does not comply with these competition regulations or displays unsporting or improper behavior or if it is deemed necessary on medical grounds or for an orderly progression of the Event. The Organizer will collect the starting numbers from Participants who have been disqualified or have otherwise dropped out of the race.
Article 6
Bringing along pets is not permitted.
Article 7
It is expected of the Participants that they will not damage the property of others and not leave any trash behind.
Article 8
Displaying or expressing explicit political, philosophical or religious views or making statements that may be considered offensive, hurtful or insulting, in any way, during the Event is prohibited.
Article 9
The actual allocation of a starting area to a Participant is made by the Organizer. The Participant must be present in the allocated starting area no less than ten minutes before the start.
Article 10
The Participant will receive a Bib number from the Organizer which will show his allocated participation number. The Participant must attach the Bib number to his chest. The Bib number must be attached and worn in such a way that the participation number and other information are easy to see. The Bib number cannot be trimmed or folded. The Participant is prohibited from wearing other Bib numbers than the one he has received from the Organizer. Failure to comply may result in disqualification.
Article 11
The Participant is obliged to list his medical passport and other details on the backside of the Bib number.
Article 12
Every Participant in the Crush Run has a chance of winning an honorary prize. A Participant is not entitled to a prize if he has acted in a way that contravenes the competition regulations. An awarded prize must be returned to the Organizer after it has been presented if it becomes apparent that the Participant has acted in a way that contravenes the competition regulations.
Article 13
Once the final starting group has left it is not possible for latecomers to start.
Article 13
The Organizer does not accept responsibility for lost items of clothing or other belongings of Participants. The same applies to items that have been left behind in the changing facilities made available by the Organizer.
Article 14
The organization takes no responsibility in case of illness or accident suffered by participants or people in the guidance and publicity caravan.
Article 15
In all cases for which these regulations do not provide the Organizer will make the final decision.
3. General Terms Crush Run 2018
Article 1:
1.1. In these terms and conditions shall apply:
A. Event: Crush Run event Organized by BattleAxe Designs in any year.
b. Participant: a company or institution or a team (or more teams) in a manner permitted by the organizer registered to participate in the Event.
c. Team: a group of up to ten participants.
d. Participant: a natural person by a Participating Company on by the Organizer manner permitted registered for participation in an Event as a member of a team.
e. Agreement means the agreement between a Participating Company and the Promoter relating to participation of Participants in the Event.
f. Organizer: the legal entity (in this BattleAxe Designs) that a Participating Company has entered into an Agreement.
1.2. These general conditions apply to any agreement.
Article 2: Entrants
2.1. A Participant may only participate in an Event if he or she has registered, and by doing so accepts all terms in this agreement
2.2. Participation in an Event shall be made by the Participant only in the team for which he is registered.
2.3. The Promoter may, under force majeure or exceptional circumstances prematurely before the moment of the first start Event decide to not proceed.
Article: 3 Liability
3.1. Participation is at your own risk. The Promoter is not liable for any damages whatsoever, which the Participant may suffer as a result of participation, unless this damage is the direct result of the Organizer attributable to intent or gross negligence. This exclusion of liability also applies to serious harm such as all possible types of damage resulting from injury or death.
3.2. If, despite the provisions of the first paragraph of this article the Organizer’s liability for damage caused by the Participant to be adopted, the obligation of the organizer to pay compensation may not exceed the amount to be the insurer of the organizer pays in respect of that damage.
3.3. The Participant must be adequately insured against the risk of damage he or kin may suffer as a result of death, injury or illness caused by his participation in the Event.
3.4. The Participant declares the registration each participant has declared familiar with the fact that participation requires good health, both mental and physical, and has declared that it complies with this requirement and that he has adequately prepared and otherwise at the Event.
3.5. The Participant shall indemnify the Organizer against liability for damage suffered by third parties as a result of an attributable to a participant acts or omissions relating to the Event. The Participating Company of the Participant must be adequately insured against the risk of liability for such damage.
3.6. The Participant shall indemnify the Promoter liability for damages the Participant could suffer as a result of his participation in the Event, unless this damage is the direct result of the attributable Organizer intent or gross negligence.
Article 5: Portrait Right
Participant grants permission in advance to the Organizer to publish during and around the Event photographs and images and the like, in which the Participant / Participant is visible.
Article 6: Personal data
The personal data provided by the Participant or a Participant be received by the Promoter in a file. By participating in an Event provides a Participating Company or Participant authorizes the Organizer to use the personal data to send information to the Participating Company or the Participant and (if this is given by the Participant consent on the registration form) for providing of personal data to third parties for sending information to Participant. Participant or a Participant grants by entering into the Agreement authorizes the Organizer to publish his name and race results, for example through publication in newspapers and on the Internet.
Article 7: Regulations
On the participation of the Participant in the Event shall apply the rules Crush Run.
4. Regulations Crush Run 2018
Method of propulsion
Participant must run along a course set by the organizer, on a road running the usual way. He must be a Participant be recognizable.
Start Position
Participants in the Crush Run start from the same ‘area’ as other participants.

Bib Number
The Participant will receive from the organizer a bib number which is allocated to him. The Participant must confirm the bib number on his chest. The bib number must be attached in such a way and behave the starting number, and another is clearly visible on the mapped information. It should not be cut or folded. It is the Participant forbidden to wear starting numbers other than those by the Organizer him strengthened. Failure to follow can be passed to disqualification.
Get Disqualification / from the race
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify and / or out of the game if it does not comply with these Contest rules or behaves in an unsporting or improper or if any medical reasons or in connection with the orderly conduct of the Event becomes necessary considered.
Click stewards
Participants must follow the instructions of the organizer, of persons having regard to the appearance clothes worn by them or other obvious to the organization of the Organizer.
Determination results
The Organizer shall determine the result and is entitled to change the result after irregularities. A prize shall be returned to the Organizer by the Participant if the Participant is no longer entitled to under the revised results.
Other cases
In all cases where these regulations are not decided by the organizer.
